Philippine’s Green Energy Choice this 2011

Philippines, is one of the countries that is recognized for trying alternatives when it comes to energy choice. Aside from the accustomed form of energy, different cities in the nation favored to use unusual form of electricity such as wind, solar and tidal form of energy. These options are considered green form of energy. From the word itself green energy which means renewable, a kind of electrical energy that is generated throughout natural means, and because it is sustainable, it will never run out.

For the past 20 years, Philippines have been one of the foremost countries that press on the use of alternative form of electricity. Ilocos city has been eminent for its windmills, it doesn’t just served as a main attraction to the city but dole out a major role for the city itself making it the foremost energy source of the said city. As of 1999, there were nine wind turbine systems operating in the country.

The use of Green energy has several advantages. It is one of the environmental – friendly resources available and widely accessible in the country. However there is a better form of energy that doesn’t only confide in solving green energy concerns, it also weakens waste management problem boisterous in the country. This 2011, Philippines have been on a concrete project with one of the leading companies when it comes to providing green energy source, TGEG.
