TGEG Biosphere Technology

Biosphere Technology is the process of turning waste to energy; a process which is considered a breakthrough in green technology. There are lots of machineries invented to be able to resolve waste management concerns that have been niggling issues from the ancient up to the present time. Countries from all over the world were partaking problems as regards to the diminution of their land resources that were used for landfills to haul their garbage. Waste has been a major problem here in the Philippines particularly in the Baguio, the City of Pines; which used to be the cleanest and greenest city in the whole country.

There were lots of technologies invented in order to diminish waste problem but due to ineffectiveness of every alternative, the hauling problem continuously provokes illness and tragedies that transpired from the past because of garbage problems. Floods, landslides, land resources depletion and most of all existence risk because of triggered diseases that can acquire form landfills.

There were numerous ways that were pragmatic, but due to some reasons there were always few things that seem to be lacking. TGEG biosphere technology is one of the substitutions that have been carefully measured by different cities in the Philippines now. Cities like Naga, Tanjay, San Fernando, Laguna, Nueve Ecija, Ilo-ilo and many others have considered biosphere technology as tenacity to their mounting waste problem. The government officials saw the potential of the TGEG biosphere technology in alleviating their dilemma on garbage matter.

The advantages of TGEG biosphere technology are numerous:

1. The process assures a zero percent harm to the environment.
2. This is a green technology that harnesses the combustibility of solid wastes to create a heat source that produces an extremely hot steam that will then generate green electricity.
3. The process is done in a limited – oxygen environment thereby significantly limiting atmospheric emissions. Addresses both energy production and waste management issues.
4. No toxic leftovers that require landfill or which cause leachate issues.
5. Eligible as Renewable Energy Developer as Renewable Energy Market.

Indeed, biosphere technology is set to change the future; it doesn’t only confide into sojourning the hoarding waste problem of the country, it will also serve as green electricity for every light bulb for every home.

Baguio City’s Garbage Problem Worsen

By: Frezel Enriquez
Baguio City used to be the cleanest and greenest city in the Philippines way back on the 90’s, but now, due to different industries which led to waste problems the title was now given to a different city which is Palawan.

Baguio's garbage problem
was even worse when the barangay Irisan dumpsite was closed due to the harming effects to the area. It has been a call for the officials to close the dumpsite as requested by the residents which invoked the law of the Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 alongside with the danger the dumpsite poses to the lives and properties in the neighborhoods.

For quite some time, the City of Pines now stinks and the local seem not paying attention on their responsibilities to carefully manage properly their waste disposal.

Tarlac on the other hand became the alternative place to lay the city’s waste, but owing to diminishing land assets which will be used for other industrialization purposes, Tarlac refuses to continue the operation of garbage reception in Baguio; leaving the said city in a big dilemma.

On eminent post I will explain as regards to how TGEG can intend a resolution for Baguio City’s growing waste problem through Biosphere Technology.

How biosphere technology is set to change the future

TGEG, work in partnership with SBSC (Spectrum Blue Steel Corporation) – a company that is licensed to provide biosphere technology in the Philippines and many other countries is set to establish a solid resolution to eliminate the growing waste problem. This advocacy would be great; eliminating waste would be great, what more turning it to electricity?

For years that we are hounded by this dilemma, there are alternatives proposed that have shown some light effects but are considered as band-aid solutions. There are many organizations that proposed different kinds of options in order to be of solution to this undying problem, still, none of which are successful in the long run.

For over the past years, countries like Japan, India, Germany and many others are fastening through renewable energy. They tend to use sustainable energy to serve as electricity for major cities; other uses wind energy, solar power and energy even from tides. And one of the other methods used is the Biosphere Technology. This is a process wherein waste is turned to electricity by incineration.

The potential of waste to energy technology has been explored by different companies worldwide. Many companies have been developing new ways to recycle waste by generating electricity from landfill. This waste to energy process is made possible through Biosphere Technology.

Other may have been opposing this kind of process because incineration is involved. Critiques say that burning the waste will indeed eliminate wastes but will only lead to worsening of the condition of the atmosphere.

The Biosphere Gasification Technology process guarantees a non-harm course for the environment. The process was tested to be environmental-friendly. It has been confirmed that there are no toxic scraps which cause filter issues for the process uses limited-oxygen environment therefore limiting atmospheric emissions.

It solves both energy and solid wastes problem all at once. Plus it helps in maintaining our groundwater free from damaging elements by superseding landfills. Finally it creates electricity and other by products through obliterating solid wastes in a cost effective manner.
